A 19th-century fully restored stone house located in the village of Pascoso (Apuane Park,2,321 feet above sea level), in the Province of Lucca (Tuscany) not far from the "cities of arts" (Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena,etc.)and from beaches (Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio).

Tirrenia Golf Club (9 hole), Cosmopolitan Golf & Country Club (18 hole) and Golf Club Fontevivo (18 hole).

In short, the house is made up of: 1 large kitchen with fireplace, 1 living room (with a sofa bed), 2 bedrooms (1 queen-bed room and 1 twin-bed room), 1 bathroom (shower), and 1 laundry (pantry) room. The front door leads into the hall, off which is the kitchen, the living room and the stairs, which lead to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. The house is nestled on a hill, with three floors on one side and two on the other; therefore at the ground floor there is another room (with independent entrance) which is used for a laundry. From the patio, you can go to the private garden (approximately 100 m2), where there are a table, chairs, parasol, and bbq. The house is fully furnished with all new or antique pieces. We have provided a television (satellite), dvd, radio and cd player. We have not yet installed a telephone, but telephone, computer, and internet access are available at our office (50 metres away). A central heating system has also been installed. And, naturally, a working fireplace adorns the kitchen, as how would a mountain house be complete without one!

Pascoso is an ideal stay for nature's lovers. However, it is not far from the "cities of arts" of Tuscany (Lucca,Pisa,Florence,Siena, etc., and beaches (Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio,which are among the most famous Italian beaches) are no more than 30 miles far.

Pascoso's finest asset, and the most important reason to travel there, is the nature in which it is literally immersed. Pascoso is a hiker's paradise: you can walk all day long without meeting a soul. As you may have already imagined, the only sounds you'll hear in Pascoso are dogs barking and townsfolk chatting. Quiet reigns through the mountainside. Traffic is almost unheard of in Pascoso. There are no nightclubs, bars, or other attractions of mass tourism. However, you will find all the essential services provided by the town's store, which is run by a local family and sells everything to meet your daily needs. Next door to the store, the family runs an old style trattoria welcoming in its genuine Tuscan hospitality.
