A half kilometre avenue of Cypress trees is the approach to this Tuscan former hunting lodge set in its own 10 hectare estate, cared for by the Corsini family for over 300 years. The setting is beautiful and romantic, yet is only 7 km from the city of Siena and an ideal base for visiting Florence and other Tuscan historical sites. Three self-contained cottages have been converted from unused parts of the 12-bedroom villa and its outhouses with taste and style. You can relax under the pergola contemplating the vines and olive groves and the forest-clad hillside beyond.

This is a two-storey villa with its own private pergola and barbeque area overlooking the estate and the vineyard. The private entrance leads into the fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area and living room with double sofa bed, armchairs and satellite television. Two steps lead up to two double bedrooms both of which have doors opening onto the patio and a shower-room. The small open study with a single bed, a third double bedroom and a second shower-room are on the first floor. The garden and the pool are shared with the guests of 2 other apartments.

On arrival you will be welcomed with a bottle of olive oil and wine from the estate and a generous selection of other local products such as “cantuccini biscuits”. Mrs Corsini, herself, can prepare you meals by request.

Washing/ironing service is available free of charge.

Independent heating is not included in the price (euro 12 per day).

Final cleaning: euro 13 per person (minimum euro 50).
