Donna and Peter welcome you to one of three self catering properties located within the grounds of La Maison. This very popular and charming south facing cottage boasts an elegant 30? lounge/formal dining room with log burner and cosy sofas with hi-fi and colour Tv for video playback only. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped with all modern facilities and features natural stone walls and exposed beams. An ornate staircase leads to the sunny mezzanine bedroom. This romantic retreat boasts a wrought iron double bed and original beams with pretty views over the rooftops and across the village. Open air dining is provided in the delightful courtyard of La Maison.

Sun loungers and garden furniture are positioned throughout the landscaped gardens to enable guests to enjoy the peace and quiet, with fruit and nut trees providing canopies for shade. The cottages are set within a fully walled complex providing a safe setting ? perfect for families.

Rental includes: all bedding, towels and tea towels, heating and electricity. Cot, high chair, baby bath and z-bed available on request in advance. La Maison also provides free use of cycles with safety helmets, Dvd/video library, Cd collection, paperback books, board and garden games! A Welcome Basket or Celebration Hamper can be provided for a small fee.

The Romanesque town of Aulnay-de-Saintonge is only 5 minutes drive away, with all amenities including a market, bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, cafes, banks, seasonal open-air swimming pool and historic church. The Atlantic Coast, La Rochelle and Poitiers are all within one hour?s drive, with Cognac and the distilleries even closer!
