A large studio apartment which sleeps 5 people in comfort and privacy. The bunk bed area which sleeps 3 is a closed door bedroom at night. There is a double and single sofa bed in the living area to suit differing sleeping arrangements. The bath is a very welcoming full size, with shower over.

The apartment is ski in and out, is sunny south facing with a balcony overlooking the pistes, recently renovated in a fresh wood and stainless steel Ikea style.

The snow sure Paradiski resort of Les Arcs 2000 is linked to the new award winning Arc 1950 resort for greater choice of amenities. The family friendly Paradiski domain is reputed to be the second largest ski area in the world, with a multitudes of runs to suit all abilities.

Arcs 2000 is easily reached by free (with lift pass) funicular rail and bus from Bourg St Maurice, which, in turn, is directly accessed by Eurostar and bus and rail services from budget airline destinations of Chambery, Lyon, Geneva, Grenoble & St Etienne. Self drive is an option, the journey time is approx 8.5 hours from Calais. Car parking, both open and covered is available nearby. Advice is freely available for transport options. I stayed here with 3 friends and this apartment was perfect. Very clean and compact! It consists of a lounge area with double sofa bed and also a single sofa bed, just inside the entrance is a bunk bed. The kitchen equipment was also great (1 x all-in-one microwave/grill/oven, fridge and plenty of cutlery etc). There was also a mini-sound system and a TV with DVD player (take your own DVD?s). Nice balcony overlooking the slopes.

There is a ?drag? lift at the bottom of the hill so it is possible to ski out of the door and if you are a good skier you can ski back to the door off piste coming off the blue ski run ?reservoire? (nb. this is v steep). Otherwise it?s only a few minutes walk from the bottom of the runs.

I recommend trying to take ALL food with you, as the shop in Les Arcs 2000 is very expensive. If you are flying to Chambery it is possible to get a taxi from the airport to Chambery Station (around 25 euro, then a train to Bourg-Saint- Maurice station from here you take the funicular to Arc 1600 then a free bus to Arc 2000).

The only small problem we had was collecting the keys then getting the apartment checked before we left. Just make sure you call the guy in resort about 1 hour before you arrive and make sure you set a time to have the apartment checked when you leave (nb, this takes about 10mins to check).

Can?t recommend this apartment enough, really is perfect if you are after simple, comfortable, clean accommodation.

Apt had fantastic views and well equipped. Full sized bath good for soothing aching ski muscles. Good for 2-3 people but would be cramped with skis and suitcases for 4-5 which it can sleep.

A very pleasant apartment, clean and tidy with great views. No storage for skies/boots and nowhere to change out of wet gear without bringing snow into the apartment is an issue.

[Owner comments: There is in fact a dedicated set of storage shelves with rack & bund for boots & skis in the entrance. Shaking loose snow off prior to entering the apartment is the norm and nobody has complained of this before].

A typical but well maintained French ski-apartment. All resort facilities are nearby. Warm, good views from balcony, and a proper size bath! Ski in/out possible. Arc 1950 within easy reach.
