The cottage is superbly located adjacent to the coastal path as it rounds the harbour and winds out of Porthleven. All front windows have marvellous views out to sea. In fact, to make the most of this vantage point the lounge is located on the first floor where one can watch in comfort the fishing boats as they go to and fro, the surfers as they skim over waves or the larger vessels as they pass by further out to sea.

The cottage is over 100 years old and as time has gone by it has been extended and refurbished but still retains some of its original features. Its comfortable accommodation includes 2 double bedrooms, a well fitted kitchen and a bathroom with a power shower over the bath. It has its own parking space.

Porthleven is an unspoilt and perfectly situated fishing village lying between Lands End and The Lizard centred around a picturesque harbour full of yachts and fishing boats. Narrow streets climb the hills on either side offering spectacular views to the visitor. It has developed a fine reputation for dining out with many restaurants specialising in local sea food. There are also three pubs in the village and a variety of shops. There is easy access to cliff walks on either side of the harbour.

The surrounding area is well known for its fine beaches, secluded coves,wooded estuaries and rugged cliffs and Porthleven is ideally placed to explore them. Think of The Lizard to the east and places to the west such as St Michaels Mount, Mousehole, Lamorna, Porthcurno, Sennen, Zennor, St Ives and of course Truro, Penzance and Falmouth.
