Recently renovated to a very high standard, the farmhouse delightfully retains many original features and boasts a few new luxurious ones; with all the latest modern conveniences to add the finishing touches to your stay.

This self catering holiday accommodation sleeps up to 8 people and baby facilities are available. The gardens offer magnificent views of the Pyr?n?es.

Situated near Oloron-Ste-Marie, B?arn, nearby activities include: outdoor swimming pool complex 3 minutes drive away, beaches (including surfing at Biarritz just 1 hour away), skiing (La Pierre St Martin or Gourette, approx 40 minutes away), golf, fishing, rugby, walking and trekking, water sports (rafting capital Navarrenx is just 3km away), horse riding, cycling (3 bicycles available for your use), tennis, paragliding, sightseeing or simply relaxing in the peace and tranquility of the countryside.

The farmhouse is set back within half an acre of gardens and has an adjacent period barn. The property also has gates at the front that can be shut to allow young children to play freely within the grounds.

There is an outdoor table with chairs and a barbeque area for your use. The farmhouse has original exposed oak beams/stone walls throughout. There is electric heating throughout and a wood burning fire in the sitting room.

Downstairs you will find the entrance hall with communal wc, newly fitted kitchen in traditional French style complete with a large French 'La Cornue', the Rolls-Royce of cookers, plenty of workspace and ample cupboards/storage, fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, microwave, iron and ironing board and full utensils. The sitting/dining room features include wood burning fire with logs provided. The pine table and chairs to seat 8 people. There is comfortable seating, a television, dvd, games cupboard and library of dvd's.There is also a double bedroom with pine bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table and built in wardrobe. All rooms have hair dryer, alarm clock, and all bedding/fresh towels are provided.This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with double sink, wrought iron roll top bath, wc and bidet.

Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom (to the same spec as the above bedroom description) and a bathroom including shower and basin and a separate communal wc. There is a large mezzanine area for additional 2 fold-away beds if required (to sleep a total of 8 people).

Baby facilities include 2 travel cots, hi-chair and booster seat, pushchair, changing mat, electric steriliser/cold water milton tank, baby monitors, baby bath and toys, rocker chair, potties, loo seats and steps, socket protectors, toy cupboard including books, lego, stickle bricks, general baby toys, outside bats and balls, toddler push a long motorbike (child seat on back of gents bike and helmet). Child friendly to help make your travels easier!

There are many ways to travel to the farmhouse. Low cost airline Ryanair flies direct from Stansted to Pau (just 40 minutes from the farmhouse) or to nearby Biarritz. Flights can be as cheap as ?1.49 plus taxes, subject to promotions. We will be happy to provide you with a list of airports/airlines which fly to the nearby area once we know whereabouts in the UK you will be travelling from. Alternatively you can travel by ferry, tunnel or rail.
