The cottage is in a quiet back street of the charming village of Cenac et St Julien and nestles into the hillside at the foot of the medieval bastide of Domme. Within walking distance you will find a baker and patisserie, butcher, Post Office, bank, supermarket, newsagents, pharmacy etc., there is a market every Tuesday morning, all just around the corner from the cottage.

The entire area is steeped in history and pre-history, counting the world famous site of Lascaux within easy reach. From the dawn of time man has left his mark in what must surely be described as one of the most beautiful parts of France. From cave dwellings to fairy tale castles the views and scenery are breath taking.
