We were disappointed to find ourselves next the Rome M25 and the noise that this produced in the apartment allocated was not acceptable. You should point out that you may get an apartment that over looks the motorway.

The apartment was fine, but lacked anywhere to sit outside? The furniture within the apartment was a bit thin on the ground and tatty

Bathroom ? no plug in the bath!

The kitchen was poorly equipped e.g. no cork screw, only 2 saucepans, no wine glasses, few other glasses. No bowls for cereal or soup. It took 24 hours to get a plug for the bath + bowls and 48 hours to get a cork screw. There was only one sharp knife ? a bread knife.

The staff were brilliant and very helpful, especially Julia ? but clearly the owners didn?t have the same view as their staff.

I think you need to agree a minimum standard of kitchen equipment with the owners and more bed pillows ? one each wasn?t enough.

Needless to say - we didn't spend much time in the apartment and eat out a lot more than we had planned - which defeated having an apartment!
