The cottage is a traditional,single storey dwelling lovingly restored to the highest standards,with wooden shuttered windows and doors.It has a private parking area and a vine covered pergola which gives shade in the summer.it also has a small roof terrace which is accessed by an original wooden outside staircase.From the terrace itself there are spectacular views of three of the other islands and the coast as well as the orange and lemon groves inland and the clay-tiled cottages of our near neighbours.Inside is one bedroom with a double bed and adequate inbuilt storage,the original beams are a feature of the roof.The living/kitchen room has French windows leading out to the patio/garden area where we have table and chairs for alfresco dining.The kitchen area has units of antique pine with granite worktops, fridge, a double electric hob and a seperate microwave/grill.There is also provided toaster,kettle,iron and board,hairdryer as well as cooking utensils and crockery.The bathroom is fully tiled and has a corner bath in white with antique pine panels,a shower attachment and screen,washbasin and W.C.Bed linen is provided and towels but not beach towels.the cottage is situated in a small canarian village on the edge of the Teide National Park ideal for exploring and walking.The coast is a 15 mins drive away for beach lovers and anyone wanting a more lively nightlife although the village does boast two of the most popular restaurants in the area.All the most popular tourist attractions are no more than 30 mins drive away.
