This charming period house has recently been fully renovated throughout to offer an exceptionally high standard of accommodation for up to six guests with period interiors complemented by modern amenities. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms; two doubles (both with 4' 6" beds) and one twin (with two 3' beds). All have fabulous views of the river or the surrounding Estate. The bedrooms are decorated in neutral tones to the highest standard and comfort throughout. All have plenty of storage space with a wardrobe or chest of drawers. All bed linen is the highest quality 100% Egyptian cotton. There is a family bathroom on the first floor with a bath with handheld shower, basin and Wc in addition to a ground floor shower room with large walk-in power shower, basin and Wc. Luxurious towels are provided for all guests. The sitting room has an open log fire, Sky television, Dvd player with a house selection of Dvds, and pay telephone. Wireless Broadband internet is also available at the property. The kitchen has dining space for six guests and direct views of The Tweed. It is decorated in traditional Shaker style with neutral tones throughout, natural tiled floor and oak work surfaces. It is fully equipped with a stainless steel electric oven and hob, dishwasher and plenty of storage space. There is a refrigerator, deepfreeze, washing machine with dryer and Belfast sink in the adjoining utility room. Guests receive a complimentary welcome hamper of local goodies on arrival. The large, secluded, peaceful garden has a private pathway leading directly down to the river Tweed. The local area also has a great deal to offer including internationally-renowned fishing on the doorstep, fabulous walking, beautiful beaches, over 100 golf courses, riding stables and historic places of interest to visit including Holy Island and Bamburgh, Alnwick and Floors Castles all in close proximity. There are several excellent restaurants and pubs within a 15 minute drive.
