Along the coast to the South, are Filey, Scarborough & Whitby within easy driving distance. To the north of Bridlington is the town of Beverley and the City of Hull.

Bridlington is a seaside resort with nice beaches and a lovely harbour offering speed boat rides and boat trips along the bay.

There is a newly refurbished Theatre, indoor swimming pool, Cinema, lots of bars, restaurants and amusements, including fun fair - there's something to please everyone.

Within walking distance is Sewerby Village, a brisk walk along the cliff tops will bring you to Sewerby hall, where there are lovely gardens, putting green, craft shops, cafe and a small Zoo. There are regular activities occuring within the grounds of this stately home, such as Medieval Jousting, craft fairs etc.

Also in Sewerby is a Miniature Village. There is a miniature train that runs along the sea front from Bridlington to Sewerby Hall (and back) at regular intervals during the summer months.

There are golf courses to the North and South of Bridlington, each within a 10 minute drive from the centre of town.
