This loft apartment has been designed by an architect and is perfectly suited for a family or two couples. It is suitable for sleeping up to 6 people. This very special vacation rental is smartly furnished, located on the 2nd floor, within a very quiet sunny inner court. It offers a wide living area with a separate kitchen zone.

Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, four burner hob, oven and microwave, drying/washing machine, dishwater and cooking utensils. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer are available.

On the mezzanine there are two separate sleeping areas each with a queen size bed, and one bathroom with shower-tub, lavabo, wc and bidet. To go upstairs on the mezzanine you have a cockle stairs, a real example of elegance and modern design: it is centripetal but not really suitable for too young and too old people. There are 2 single sofa beds in the living area. This is a charming loft/apartment, located on Paris Left Bank, just 100 metres away from St. Germain de Pr?s with its legendary outdoor Caf? de Flore and Deux Magots, historical breeding ground of Paris writers and philosophers.

The quarter is in the flurry of art galleries, bakeries, antique shops, cheese shops, bookshops, home decor and small fashion boutiques.

3 major Metro lines at St. Sulpice (Nr. 4) and at Sevres/Babylone (Nr. 10 et Nr. 12).

The apartment is well located, but could be better maintained (not terribly clean, there was no hot water for the first couple of days, and the ceiling fan did not seem to function).

We really enjoyed our stay in this fashionable part of Paris. The appt is comfortable, but not suitable for young children due to lack of stair rail and inadequate protection around the mezzanine areas (only scaffolding bars with very wide gaps). However, our children (10, 11 & 18 yrs) loved the style of the appt and being within walking distance of shops. We loved being in and old building, with a courtyard that appeared 'Tardis' like behind the front door on the street. We found everything we needed in the appt. M. Colin was welcoming and helpful. The metro is nearby.
