The accommodation is on two floors.Downstairs is a fitted kitchen with fridge,microwave and freezer. The lounge / dining room has a traditional wood burning stove.There is a sitting room with a sofa bed and television(English channels only) and Dvd player. Adjacent to the lounge is a separate Wc and bathroom with shower.

Up the traditional wooden staircase, there are two large bedrooms,one with a double bed ,wash basin and bidet and the second with two single beds.

There is a utility room in the basement with washing machine and dryer.

Outside is a large enclosed garden and garden furniture is provided.

In the village is a baker and well stocked general store and restaurant./bar The ancient castle of St Hugues is in the village square and well worth a visit.

Every Monday, the nearby town of Marcigny has one of the best markets in the area.The town also has shops of all types as well as a supermarket.

The area offers numerous walks. A little further a field the Roanne /Digoin Canal and the Loire offers

fishing boating and walking.The wine growing region of Burgundy and Beaujolais are within easy driving distance.

Please note that there are stairs down to the garden which makes this property unsuitable for small children.
