Absolutely beautiful architect- designed flat apartment in what is the most famous and beautiful street in Gdansk, and probably all of Poland - Mariacka Street. This apartment has, without exaggeration, the very best location in the whole Tricity. This street has a uniquely magical atmosphere, especially at night with all the street lamps lit. The flat has been recently refurbished in the last year to a very high standard. It has oak wooden floors, spacious living area, modern kitchen with modern appliances, central heating throughout, modern bathroom, and two double bedrooms. It is fully furnished in a neutral style, and has flat screen tv with 50 cable channels, dvd, and wireless broadband internet access. The apartment sleeps 5 people comfortably, and 6 if your group includes one or more children. It has lovely views looking out onto the street below, where you can relax in some charming cafes, browse the little jewellery shops and just watch the world go by. It is located in the very heart of the historic Old Town, where you can find excellent restaurants, bars and shopping just a short stroll away, and a stone's throw away from the Motlawa river, where you can take a lazy boat trip to Westerplatte, where the second World War began. It is also about a 15 minute drive away from Sopot, which is Poland's premier seaside resort. Here you can sunbathe on lovely sandy child-friendly beaches, visit Sopot Aquapark, and then visit the great nightlife in the evening. There are open air concerts held here during the summer. Gydnia is host to Poland?s top Film Festival, as well as a Summer Jazz Festival. The Tricity (which comprises Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot) is a perfect location for a great family holiday, a romantic getaway, or just for a relaxing break seeing the sights. There is so much to see and do, you definitely won't get bored however long you stay. Poland is also an excellent place to visit because it is such great value compared to many other European destinations - your pound will go a long way here!
