The flat has a 30 m2 south-facing terrace with lots of plants, chairs and an umbrella (do not worry, there is an automatic watering system!). The terrace is particularly nice for breakfasts with fresh bread and cakes/croissants from one of the local "Forn de Pa" (bakeries). There are also lights so that you can eat outside in the evenings.

The flat has a large living room with tv, video, satellite and music centre. This room has a large low window which opens onto the terrace. This means there is a spacious, airy feel to the flat. It has a double bedroom, and a second double bedroom,which also opens onto the terrace. This has a double sofa bed. Also available is a folding bed (Ikea). As the flat is quite large, the sleeping arrangements can be extremely flexible to suit your own requirements.

The main airport in Barcelona is only 12 kilometres from the city centre and takes less than half an hour by train, bus or taxi. This flat is fairly conveniently situated for Estacio Nord, which is where the buses from Gerona airport arrive in Barcelona (after a journey of just over an hour). As well as street parking, there are a couple of commercial secure parking facilities very close to the flat.

The area is in a bustling Barrio which is not swamped with tourists but has quick and easy access to most of the city centre.

The patio is the strong point of this property plus the rooms and kitchen setup.

Great amount of space for 4 persons, its easily accessed through metro and there are many grocery stores, small markets, and restaurants near by. The owners are very willing to help with any problems and give some usefull information about the apartment and city.

The apartment was well located for local restauarnats/the metro/sightseeing bus and the added bonus of a small sun terrace/garden was very useful. The accomodation was adequate if not a little basic. It sleeps 3 comfortably any more and it is a little restricting. The kitchen facilities are very basic. The information recieved from the owner both before our stay and the information left in the apartment was very useful. All in all the apartment is idealy located if you want to be out of the more tourist parts of Barcelona yet within easy access of all the main attractions. I would recommend the apartment to any one looking for good budget accomodation.
