We enjoyed our stay at Apartment Alision. It is clean, a decent size for two people and is right next to the sea. The interesting town of Trogir is a short bus ride away and you can hire bikes or scooters there if you want to travel further. Everything in the apartment worked fine. Our only suggestion would be to simplify the collection and return of keys. If, like us, you don't arrive by car you have to organise taxis to take you to the office and then get them to wait while you sign the paperwork and hand over the deposit.

The apartment was clean well equiped and in a good location, if not a little isolated in low season, but thats no bad thing. The area is being developed around the apartment, which caused some noise in the mornings. Someone was doing some work downstairs in one of the apartments and the noise went straight throught the apartments as noise travelled quickly throught the place.

The apartment is on the top floor, but at the side of the block, the balcony is small, but if you look to the right you can see the sea and has splendid views. , look left and you look into the pine woods and in front for you you see the orange apartments.

Behind the apartment you are not overlooked, with the pine trees as a backdrop.

The apartment came with a stereo and modern TV, where you could pick up a couple of English channels, RTL being the clearest. I think this apartment is fine for 2 people and maybe small children on the sofa, but not for 4 adults.. The shower was good, with an efficent boiler and all very clean. The neighbours dont like noise after 9pm, but thats no bad thing.

The staff at the Barbie office in Trogir were very pleasant, we came across a very helpful local taxi driver who I would recommend his name was Darko, My wife and I could text him, and he would come to the apartments and drive us where we wanted, for half the normal price and give advice on the sights and be very friendly and helpful. His mobile number if you need to use him, as like us you didnt hire a car is 00385918817613. this is completely separte to the apartment, but he comes recommended.

In short a lovely place, we went to the hotel to the left of the aprtment and found to be pleasant and when to a couple of the restaurants slightly further away on foot, and found the food to be to a high standard.

Approx 1.5 kilometres away from the apartment in Slatine was a good place with drinks and food, and more importantly a toilet.

Croatia I would totally recommend and Trogir is beautiful, you dont have to hire a car, but if you do you'll be able to explore more of the surrounding area.

The experience with Selfcatering holidays was smooth and professional.

The apartment was very comfortable & well equiped. We did have a problem with the air conditioning, in that we were asked to switch it off due to water dripping from our balcony on to others(we then put a bucket under the pipe). We also found we had to be very quiet in the evenings the walls are not very well sound proofed so although our youngsters were disapointed we didn't let them play any music on the sound system provided or watch telly after 9.00. The beach oposite is nice with lovely views.The family who run the beach bar were very friendly & kind.
