The Savoy has a continental climate with strong differences in temperature between summer and winter, and by the presence of regular rains, sometimes abundant and stormy. The number of days of snow varies between a few in the valleys to over a hundred in the mountains. The temperature decreases by 0.55°C per 100 meters of altitude.

For the more adventurous choose between hang-gliding and para-gliding, downhill skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing and Snowshoeing, climbing and canyoning.
