NeranoThe airport nearest to Nerano is Naples' Capodichino, 60km away. The train runs from Naples to Sorrento - travelling time 1 hour - and there is a bus direct to Nerano from Sorrento - also an hour away. The roads are narrow and windy.

Nerano makes a great base for exploring Campania. From here, it's an easy drive to Sorrento, Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius or other area attractions. These are all reachable easily by public transport too.Massa Lubrense is 9km away, and Sorrento is 15 km away. You can also take a boat tour of the coast or of Capri, or even travel to Campania's main sights by sea.
There is some excellent coast walking on the limestone cliffs in the Ieranto national park.
