Its rugged coastline, dotted with lighthouses to guide the ships from the treacherous rocks also has lovely sheltered coves and long sandy beaches. The best surfing beaches in the UK can be found on the north coast which is exposed to the North Atlantic swells. The coast is best explored on foot on one of the walks on the Cornish coastal path, which encompasses the whole 258 miles of the coastline. Other attractions are the Eden project, featuring the largest greenhouse in the world, some lovely fishing villages and towns and some outstanding restaurants.
